Tour Guide
I’m German-speaking Namibian and moved to Cape Town 18 years ago. A former teacher/deputy principal when I was still living in Namibia.
Travelling, food and meeting people is another passion. I’ve been to 50 countries and loves exploring food culture, because I’m a hobby cook myself. I worked at the reception of a campsite in Munich during the summer seasons, where the interaction with international tourists was plentiful. I’ve organised tours for Namibian Grade 12 students to Germany to expose them to the beauty of travelling and seeing the world through different eyes.
I’m qualified to guide in Namibia and all provinces in South Africa: Gauteng, Mpumalanga, NorthWest, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Free State, Northern, Western and Eastern Cape.
Ich bin deutschsprachiger Namibier und vor 18 Jahren nach Kapstadt gezogen. Ein ehemaliger Lehrer/stellvertretender Schulleiter, als ich noch in Namibia lebte.
Reisen, Essen und Leute treffen ist eine weitere Leidenschaft. Ich war in 50 Ländern und liebe es, die Esskultur zu erkunden, da ich selbst Hobbykoch bin. Während der Sommersaison arbeitete ich an der Rezeption eines Campingplatzes in München, wo es viel Kontakt zu internationalen Touristen gab. Ich habe für namibische Zwölftklässler Touren nach Deutschland organisiert, um ihnen die Schönheit des Reisens und die Sicht auf die Welt mit anderen Augen näher zu bringen.
Ich bin als Reiseführer für die folgenden Gebiete qualifiziert: Namibia und alle Provinzen in Südafrika: Gauteng, Mpumalanga, NorthWest, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Free State, Northern, Western und Eastern Cape.

We would like to say a big thank you for your sovereign tour guiding. In the 2 weeks, we were able to learn a lot about this wonderful country – even what is not in the history books – and is so important for understanding the people and the country. With composure and assertiveness, you managed to let us enjoy a very nice trip. All the best and Dresden is also worth a trip!
